Sling Choker Mfg (Thompson) Ltd. has been operating in Thompson, Manitoba since 2003, primarily manufacturing wire rope slings, synthetic slings, and chain slings. Over the past 10 years, we have expanded our product lines and services by listening attentively to our customers’ needs and developing new core business.

We’ll always remain your Rigging Specialists, but after having significantly expanded into other sectors, we now offer so much more coverage to customers:

• Mine duty pumps
• Regular site visits and audits; always working closely with our manufacturers
• Innovative solutions to inefficient applications anywhere in the field

We also host a Draeger Service Center, where an emphasis on industrial safety helps protect workers in a way that preserves uninterrupted productivity, and offers:

• Repairs, rentals, and training
• Gas detection and breathing apparatus systems
• Around the clock expertise from our full-time technician

Ensuring customer needs are met in full, we offer a full line of PPE:

• Footwear and hand protection
• Safety eyewar and full head & hearing protection
• Fall protection and gas detection systems (personal and fixed)
• Complete training for many of these products, as well as with fire extinguishers and gas detection & breathing apparatus systems
• Quantitative fit testing for half and full face respirators, always ensuring comfort and compliance
