The extremely abrasion resistant gum rubber tube in G741 allows it to stand up to most non-oily bulk materials such as gravel, sand, and fertilizers. The tube is also certified to FDA food grade standards, making it suitable for grains, corn, sugar, and other foodstuffs. Where static build-up is a problem, the built in static wire dissipates static electricity when properly grounded to couplings.
TUBE : smooth, tan, 3/16” thick, ultra abrasion-resistant natural gum rubber that is certified to FDA standards
REINFORCEMENT : double wire helix plus static wire embedded between layers of synthetic textile cords
COVER : corrugated, tan, wrapped finish, weather and abrasion resistant rubber
TEMPERATURE RANGE : -40°C (-40°F) to 85°C (185°F)
COUPLINGS : because natural rubber is quite soft, it is difficult to obtain good fitting retention with punch clamps or band & buckles. On pressure applications, G38 double bolt clamps or G23T Tri-Lock fittings may be required
